Content
 Morality print by the painter/draughtsman Jacobus Buys on the freedom of the press. Shown is a woman with a lance and liberty hat, symbolising Freedom, who is obstructing a man with chains from chaining up a woman writing who has a number of books at her feet and two goose quills within hand's reach. The woman writing sits beneath the monument to Laurens Janszoon Coster; above it a stack of books also crowned with a liberty hat. In the background the St. Bavo in Haarlem can be seen.
