Content
 The paper mill for making newspapers belonging to Van Gelder en Zonen in Velsen at the North Sea Canal. One of the five Van Gelder mills operating at the beginning of the 20th century. In 1890 Van Gelder had started making paper for newspapers. So great was the demand that the paper mill at Velsen was founded especially for this purpose. The most important Dutch dailies were printed on paper from this mill.
