Content
 Master Simon Verepaeus (c. 1522-1598), canon, humanist, grammarian and schoolmaster, is the author of the textbook "Primæ stvdiorvm exercitationes", printed and published by Jan Scheffer II of 's-Hertogenbosch in 1585. According to the introduction of Verepaeus' "De epistolis latine conscribendis" (1588) he was a guest of Adolf van Cortenbach, Lord of Helmond in 1580. This edition of "Primæ stvdiorvm exercitationes" is dedicated to Van Cortenbach and his son Charles.
