Content
 Prints of tools used to put gilt motifs on bindings. This gilding material is from the Elias P. van Bommel bindery in Amsterdam which was liquidated in 1794. It is mainly used for hand-bookbinding. Many tools date to before the foundation of the bindery in 1886 and will therefore have been taken over from other binders.
