 Examples of the Garmond, a letter cut in 1540 after an Italian example by the famous French type cutter Claude Garamond (1480 -1561) and launched anew by the N.V. Lettergieterij 'Amsterdam', voorheen N. Tetterode. The Gramond family at N.V. Lettergieterij 'Amsterdam', formerly N. Tetterode, consisted of normal (roman), italic, and semi-bold.
