A verse with an illustration in which 'Voluptuous Mietje' asks her brother why he always has his nose in his books instead of playing with her: 'I would rather be playful than read'. Piet thinks it is more sensible to continue reading (what seems to be a Dutch Authorised Version of the Bible) 'Eternal God to Praise', because even although he is still small, death may strike at any moment.
